  1. Choose the right categories and enough categories – GMB allows you to choose as many categories as fits your business. You can choose a primary category and then multiple additional categories. Just start typing in words which match what you offer. Then choose the one that matches. The more related categories, the better.

    Siri, move over, Google Assistant is here and connecting quite well with Google’s listings. If you receive calls at your business, then enable Google Assistant! This will allow people who are busy to tell the Google Assistant to just call and make an appointment with your business. If you don’t offer it and your competitor does, guess where this busy customer is going?
  3. Photos Speak
    You must include photos, it is not an option. Include photos of your products, photos of the inside of your office, photos of your work, photos of your team.

    Photos aren’t an option, well neither are videos. We all have access to video cameras in our smartphones and you can absolutely use these types of videos for your listing. Take a little tour of your office, take a video behind the scenes at an event, show a video demonstration of your products or services. There are so many options. Try them, keep them to no longer than 3 – 5 minutes.

    Google is allowing your business to have article space on amazing search real estate. Don’t let this opportunity go. You can post a portion of a blog article and link back to your website. You can also add events, offers, and new products.
